3D Printed Product Care Instructions
Thank you for your purchase! Please follow the care guidelines below to help your 3D printed item last as long as possible.
General Care
- Avoid exposing the product to extreme heat (above ~50–60 °C / 122–140 °F), as it may warp.
- Keep away from open flames, stovetops, car dashboards in summer, and radiators.
- Clean gently using a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use harsh chemicals, acetone, strong alcohol, or abrasive cleaners unless you know the material is compatible.
Material-Specific Guidelines
PLA (Common Decorative & Light-Duty Prints)
- Not dishwasher-safe.
- Avoid soaking in water for long periods.
- Store in a cool, dry place.
- Limit long-term exposure to direct sunlight to reduce risk of warping or brittleness.
PETG (More Durable / Utility Prints)
- More heat- and water-resistant than PLA.
- Can usually be hand-washed with mild soap and lukewarm water.
- Avoid abrasive scrub pads that may scratch the surface.
ABS (Higher-Temperature Applications)
- More heat-resistant than PLA and PETG.
- Can be wiped with mild soap and water; use alcohol sparingly.
- Avoid strong solvents (like acetone) unless intentionally used for finishing.
TPU / Flexible Prints
- Do not overstretch, twist aggressively, or pull on thin sections.
- Hand wash only; avoid dishwashers and high heat.
- Keep away from sharp objects that can puncture or cut the material.
Painted or Coated Items
- Treat as you would painted decor or delicate accessories.
- Clean with a dry or lightly damp microfiber cloth.
- Avoid alcohol, acetone, or harsh cleaners that may damage the finish.
Items with Moving Parts
- Operate moving parts gently; do not force anything that feels stuck.
- If motion becomes stiff, a small amount of dry lubricant (like silicone spray or graphite) can help—avoid oily lubricants.
Food Contact
Unless explicitly labeled as food-safe, with a smooth sealed surface and suitable material:
- Not intended for direct or prolonged food contact.
- Do not use for hot foods or in the microwave, oven, or dishwasher.
